Empowering individuals through confidence, dignity, and style.
Emonie's Closet of Champions partners with community organizations to provide professional attire and confidence-building support for individuals preparing for school, work, and life transitions.
"Founded in 2019, after the untimely passing of my daughter Emonie, I made a commitment to honor her legacy โ rooted in her own journey through foster care. That commitment became the foundation of a nonprofit dedicated to those who needed it most."
โ Leigh Canada, Founder & Executive Director
Emonie's journey through foster care shaped who she was โ resilient, generous, full of light. When she passed, her mother Leigh chose to transform grief into purpose. Emonie's Closet was born from the belief that every child in the system deserves to feel seen, valued, and prepared for whatever comes next.
What started as a promise to one daughter has grown into a movement that has touched over 4,300 individuals across six Georgia counties โ DeKalb, Fulton, Henry, Newton, Rockdale, and Walton. Every outfit distributed, every back-to-school event held, every partnership formed carries Emonie's spirit forward.
From the Founder, Leigh Canada
Every child and family deserves to feel seen, valued, and respected โ uplifted through clothing and resources that honor their journey.
Access creates possibility. We empower individuals to build their future with pride and purpose โ one outfit, one resource, one next step at a time.
Emonie's Closet exists because a community chooses to love out loud โ strengthening the bridge between those who can help and those who need it.
Inspired by Emonie's spirit, we carry her light forward. Her joy, generosity, and resilience are woven into every service we provide.
We show up with honesty, accountability, and gratitude โ committed to serving with excellence and staying true to our mission.
We offer a welcoming, boutique-style experience so every guest feels fully supported, valued, and ready to step into their next chapter.
We partner with organizations to bring the Closet of Champions directly to the people who need it โ eliminating barriers and meeting communities where they are.
Every item distributed carries Emonie's legacy โ a reminder that one life, fully lived with generosity and grace, can change thousands more.

"One Outfit, One Skill, Preparing your future one step at a time."
